Choosing a Design

Decide where you plan to put your floor-cloth.

Are you looking for something colorful to accent the area or something subtle to blend into the room?

What king of floor do you have? Cork, wood, tiles?

Choose the colors do you want to accent with a rug? You may refer to DeltaPaints color chart.

Would you like other colors from adjacent rooms to be incorporated into the floorcloth?

What is you preferences, borders, no borders, geometrics, floral?

Size

Floor-cloths can be ordered in most any size. To determine the size you need for your floorcloth, take several newspapers and tape them together in the approximate shape. Lay the paper on your floor where you would like the rug. Create the desired shape and size that you feel looks correct for your space. You than measure the width and length in feet or inches/meters or centimeters.

Custom colors

In order to achieve a color scheme as close as possible to the room you must send fabrics swatches like curtains or cushions, wallpaper swatch, anything that may have an impact on the colors of your floorcloth. If you don’t have an actual swatch of fabric left, find a paint chip with the colors or something that can represent the colors. It is helpful to send a selection of paint chips so I can get an understanding of the general color that you want. Photographs are not a good source for colors because they will look different. Colors will be matched as closely as possible, however, expect some variation. I use Delta "Creamcoat acrylic paints", to view the color chart follow this link: Delta Cream Coat paints

Price

All prices for floor-cloths are based on $25. - $33. Per square foot. Price depends on the complexity of the design. After reviewing your information and talking with you via email or on on the phone, I will then figure out an exact price for the work involved. Floorcloths can be created in any size and most shape. Measure the length and width of the rug and then multiply the length times the width to determine the total square footage.

Design Fee & Payment

To request a painted sample of a particular design or to create a new design there is a $100 design fee charge.This fee covers the time to create the samples and will be used as a deposit towards your purchase. It is non-refundable but will be credited toward your purchase. Fee is due with request for painted sample. Once the drawing has been approved, I require a 50% deposit to begin painting your rug with the balance due prior to shipping. Money Order, Bank Draft and Pay Pal are accepted.

Ordering

Mail me your colors, photographs and ideas along with the dimensions and drawing fee ($100. Non-refundable deposit credited toward your purchase). I will then call you to discuss what you are looking for in your floorcloth. I will listen to your wants and needs and try to capture your ideas in an image. After looking over your information and talking with you on the phone, I will begin to work on a drawing of your floorcloth.

Delivery Time

Delivery time depends on the size of the rug and the current studio schedule at the time the deposit is paid. for a large size from the average shipping time for average size (6"x4") is 3 to 6 weeks.

Shipping & Handling

Floorcloths will be shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Orders are shipped Via Canada Post or your preferred mode of shipping. There is an additional shipping & handling charge of 12%.

Return Policy

Your floorcloth will be custom designed with your ideas in mind. Your complete satisfaction is extremely important. Please try to express all your concerns and ideas up front so problems can be prevented. Because the floorcloths are custom designed, there is no refunds or exchanges allowed.
