Floor Cloths or Natural rugs are original paintings created on a heavy canvas that is first shrunk.  Each canvas is individually hand painted with two coats of white acrylic paint. I use a minimum of 3 coats of Delta Cream Coat  acrylic paints  for the designs. The Floor Cloth is than sealed with eight coats of water base varnish, altogether seven coats of varnish on top and 5 coats on the bottom, finished with two coats of non yellowing wax. A Floor Cloth will provide you years of pleasure not to mention a great conversation piece. Each painting is an original piece of art signed and dated.  This home accessory can be used as a runner in your entrance way, area rug in your bathroom or kitchen, wherever you might feel the need to add some color and whimsy. Floor Cloths are definitely unique gifts either for wedding or birthday gift plus they will also make  great conversation pieces.

The prices of each floor cloth depends on the complexity of the design. All prices are quoted  in Canadian dollars and are based on $15. to $33. per square foot.
